Liverpool’s Emre Can is set to make this debut for the Germany national team tonight against Poland. The World Cup winners take on Poland in their Euro 2016 qualification clash in Group D.

The 21-year-old is expected to start at right-back along side Hector, Hummels and Boateng in defence. Can has spent this season playing in midfield but was taken off at half-time during Liverpool’s 3-0 defeat to West Ham United.
Germany are second in Group D with 13 points in six games. The 2014 World Cup winners have won their last three group games.
The Liverpool midfielder featured in Germany u21’s European Championship campaign in the Czech Republic earlier this summer. Can scored a goal in his sides opening game and provided an assist in the second group game.
