Germany won their second consecutive Euro 2016 Group D game following a 3-2 win over Scotland to remain in first place.
Arsenal star Mesut Özil started for the Germany national team as he did in the 3-1 win over Poland last week.
The 26-year-old was part of the Germany side that won the World Cup last year in Brazil.
Özil is one of three players on the Germany national team of Turkish origin with the others being Liverpool midfielder Emre Can and Borussia Dortmund midfielder İlkay Gündoğan.
Gündoğan managed to get his name on the scoresheet today and Can provided an assist.
Özil divided opinion as ever on social media with fans either loving his amazing vision or loathing his languid playing style.

Özil feels his handwork often goes unnoticed but this fan seemed to get his message.

Then there was the classic criticism directed towards Özil slamming him for appearing to not put in enough effort.
