Fatih Terim blames team moral on fans [divider]
Fatih Terim has blamed the Turkish national team’s poor morale on the fans that turned up to watch Brazil crush the Crescent-Stars 4-0 at the Şükrü Saracoğlu stadium.
“I understand what the players are going through, the fans protests have ruined team morale,” Terim said.
“We did not deserve to have those words said against us but these same fans will cheer you when you beat Kazakhstan.
“Therefore we must pull together and believe before the Kazakhstan game.
“Kazakhstan is what is important here not the friendly.
“Brazil were excellent, the score ruined our morale but we have to pick ourselves up we have a responsibility to do better than this.”
Turkey face Kazakhstan in the critical Euro 2016 Group A qualification tie at the Türk Telekom Arena on Sunday 16 November 2014.
The Crescent-Stars are currently joint last with Kazakhstan in Group A with just one point after three games.
