Newly appointed Internazionale manager Roberto Mancini wants Galatasaray’s Semih Kaya to join him in Milan.
The experienced manager who previously worked with Kaya at Galatasaray, has made the signing of the 23-year-old in January a top priority.
Inter have had problems in defence this season having conceded 14 goals in 11 games.
Kaya has also been linked with a move to Atletico Madrid and Manchester United in recent weeks.
The La Liga side are reportedly prepared to spend €15 million on the Turkish international.
The Galatasaray defender spoke highly of Mancini in a recent interview, “He is a very successful and experienced manager.
“He is like a friend, he tries to pass on his experience to us at every opportunity.”
The Turkish international defender still has four-years left on his contract and makes €1.5 million per-season.
Kaya has been called up to the Turkish national team camp and is expected to start against Kazakhstan in the Euro 2016 Group A qualification game.
