Liverpool 1-1 Norwich: Emre Can features in Reds draw

Liverpool were held to a 1-1 draw against Norwich City at Anfield on Sunday 20 September.

The Reds went into the game in 14th place on seven points but could have leapfrogged eight teams and moved into joint 4th on 10 points.

The Premier League giants could only manage moving into 13th place following the draw.

Emre Can was given the start in central midfield and put on a decent performance completing the highest number of passes in the game (80) with an 82.5 percent accuracy rate.

The 21-year-old partnered Lucas Leiva and James Milner in midfield while Coutinho, Benteke and Sturridge made up the attacking trio.

Liverpool were without the injured Jordan Henderson and Daniel Sturridge while Andre Wisdom missed the game for Norwich due to being ineligible to face his parent club.

Ins put Liverpool ahead on 48 minutes but Martin equalised for Norwich on 61 minutes to rescue a point for the away side.
