Italian football website Sport Mediaset have stated that Wesley Sneijder could join AC Milan in January.
According to the report which was also featured on Tutto Mercatoweb, the Serie A giants want to sign Sneijder on a six month loan deal with the option to sign him at the end of the season.
Milan look set to have a busy January in the transfer market as they look to strengthen their squad which has so far struggled in the league.
Wesley Sneijder’s agent Guido Albers recently hinted that his client may return to the Serie A in January.
Albers stated “Galatasaray are having difficulties paying wages. Sneijder is very keen on a return to Italy.”
Sneijder is currently with the Netherlands national team on international break.
The 30-year-old playmaker has also been closely linked with Manchester United, Juventus, FC Tokyo and Toronto FC.
Sneijder has scored three goals in 12 games for Galatasaray this season.
