Arsenal legend Ian Wrright has defended Mesut Ozil following his performance against Chelsea at the Stamford Bridge last weekend.
“This is why Ozil gets some of the stick that he gets, Ozil must be thinking what more can I do in respect of creating chances for Arsenal try and finish off,” Wright said while speaking on BT Sport.
“And when you watch him he does create allot of chances for Arsenal.”
Stats have revealed that Mesut Özil has created more chances in the current calendar year than Manchester City’s David silva and Chelsea’s Eden Hazard.
