Sevilla right back Diogo Figueiras has been linked with a move to Besiktas in January.
The claim was made by the Spanish newspaper Estadio Deportivo Gazetesi.
According to the report Figueiras, who has struggled to find first team football in the league, impressed Besiktas scouts during this three appearances in the Europa League.
Figueiras has been left out of Sevilla’s starting XI in their last five games, playing just 44 minutes against Elche.
The 23-year-old moved to Sevilla in 2013 and has three years remaining on his contract.
The Black Eagles are in the market for a new right back as they currently have no alternative to Serdar Kurtuluş.
Beşiktaş conceded goals against Erciyesspor and Fenerbahce down their right flank when they were forced to play Necip Uysal – a central midfielder – at right back.
Besiktas have been linked with Ivo Pinto, Allan Nyom, Martin Linnes and Mayke in recent weeks.
Figueiras has made 11 appearances for Sevilla this season in all competitions.
