Jose Sambade unveils new training method [divider]
Beşiktaş head goalkeeping coach Jose Sambade has revealed his latest training methods.
The experienced coach joined Beşiktaş on a three-year deal from Deportivo La Coruna to help the Black Eagles woeful goalkeeping record.
Beşiktaş had conceded the highest number of goals out of the top-four sides in the league when Sambade took over.
“I want to improve the standards of goalkeeping at the club and develop Turkish goalkeeping at youth level,” Sambade was reported as saying on the official Beşiktaş website.
The Black Eagles undertook major changes to improve their coaching under former Director of Football Önder Özen.
Özen said, “We will have a specialised center for goalkeeping training and development.
“I’ve witnessed the impact good coaching can have in developing keepers and can’t stress enough how important it is.”
Only four Süper Lig clubs have conceded fewer goals than Beşiktaş this season.
