Liverpool are set to appoint Jurgen Klopp as their new manager on a three-year deal on Friday according to the Mail.
Klopp will be replacing Brendan Rodgers as head coach after being sacked by the club following the 1-1 draw against Everton in the Merseyside derby.
The German manager has been in talks with Liverpool and is believed to have already agreed a deal with the Premier League giants.
Liverpool star Emre Can will work under a new manager for the first time since joining the Reds on a £9.75 million transfer from Bayer Leverkusen last summer.
Can is of course no stranger to Klopp from his time spent in the Bundesliga and he recently came out in praise of the German manager.
The 21-year-old stated that Klopp is a manager that has proven himself and that the German manager is capable of coaching at club in the world.
Speaking to Die Welt before former Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers’ departure, Can said: “Jurgen Klopp is certainly a great coach. I think that he’s proven in Dortmund that he could fit in at any club in the world.”
