Lazar Markovic started for Fenerbahce in the 1-0 win over Kayserispor at the Kadir Has stadium after recovering from an injury that saw him sidelined for the last three weeks.
Markovic picked up an injury in the 3-2 defeat against Besiktas in the Istanbul derby but had already established himself as a first-team regular.
The 21-year-old put on a decent performance creating a number of dangerous chances down the flank and he did make the highest number of successful dribbles (2).
Markovic joined Liverpool on a £17.5 million transfer from Benfica last summer but struggled to settle in at the Reds.
The Serbian international became the third player from the Premier League to join the Black Eagles over the transfer window. Robin van Persie and Luis Nani both joined the club from Manchester United on three-year deals.
There are a total of four ex Premier League players in the current Fenerbahce side – former Liverpool and Chelsea midfielder Raul Meireles being the other.
