Trabzonspor suffered a shock defeat against Mersin in the Turkish Super League to extend their losing streak to four consecutive games.
Mersin ended up winning their first game of the season and moving off the bottom of the table for the first time this season.
The Black Sea Storm meanwhile dropped into 11th place and considering they were considered among the title favourites as well as the fact that managers in the league last on average seven months the writing could be on the wall for head coach Shota Arveladze.
