Fenerbahce’s Brazilian playmaker Diego Ribas has been ruled out for two weeks with an injury.
Diego was substituted off the field of play after the 56. minute during Fenerbahce’s 1-1 draw with Bursaspor on Monday.
Fenerbahce released a statement today regarding Diego’s injury.
“Diego Ribas, who had to be substituted during last nights game with Bursaspor, has undergone scans at the Göztepe Medical Park hospital.
“The results of the scan show that Diego Ribas has an injury to his left thigh muscle.
The former Atletico Madrid play-maker has made seven appearances however is yet to register an assist or goal for his new side.
Diego was part of the Atletico Madrid side which won the Spanish League and reached the UEFA Champions League final last season
