Hakan Çalhanoğlu has been linked with a move to the Premier League over the past month with Leverkusen CEO Michael Schade confirming that the 21-year-old would be available at the right price.
TalkSport have also closely linked Manchester United with Çalhanoğlu but the Gunners could face competition from the likes of Arsenal and Barcelona who are reported to be keeping tabs on the Turkish international.
1. Free-kick specialist
Manchester United have scored just two goals from set-peices this season with only one goal from a free-kick. The Red Devils currently lack a set-piece specialist in their squad, something Hakan Çalhanoğlu would bring to the team.
Çalhanoğlu is widely regarded as being one of the best in the business with a phenomenal free-kick scoring record – 22 in the Bundesliga. Bayern Munich boss Pep Guardiola described him as being one of the best free-kick takers in the Bundesliga stating, “Çalhanoğlu is one of the best free-kick takers in the Bundesliga.”
The highly rated 21-year-old has already scored six goals and provided two assists in all competitions this season. The Bayer play-maker star also has a phenomenal free-kick scoring record – 22 in the Bundesliga alone.
