West Ham boss Slaven Bilic has revealed that beating Liverpool was his most memorable moment managing Beşiktaş.
The Black Eagles knocked Liverpool out of the Europa League Round of 32 last season on penalty shoot-outs at the Atatürk Olympic stadium.
“I will never forget Liverpool we were fantastic and faced a top team who were favourites,” Bilic told Fanatik.
Bilic praised the teams performance and the fans for applying pressure on the Reds in the home leg.
“The fans strangled them with the pressure created and Tolgay’s goal made me feel like I was flying I will never forget that goal,” he added.
Tolgay Arslan scored the goal that took the tie against Liverpool into extra time and then penalties.

Beşiktaş were eventually knocked out by Belgium giants Club Brugge in the quarter-final stages of the competition.
Bilic left Beşiktaş at the end of the season taking over at West Ham where he has had a brilliant start to the season beating Liverpool again as well as Chelsea, Manchester City and Arsenal.
