Beşiktaş were held to a 3-3 draw against Kasımpasa at the Fatih Terim stadium in the mini Istanbul derby.
Kasımpaşa opened the scoring with a fabulous strike from Eren Derdiyok on 24 minutes but Rhodolfo equalised soon after making the most of a goalmouth scramble resulting from Özyakup’s corner kick.
Ryan Donk gave Kasımpaşa the lead once again with yet another fantastic strike to give the away side the lead going into the half time break.
Mario Gomez equalised shortly after the interval with his nine goal of the season and Beşiktaş put Kasımpaşa under sustained pressure.
Despite having the upper hand it was Kasımpaşa who yet again took the lead against the run of play when Derdiyok bagged his brace.
Beşiktaş did however, manage to salvage a point when Oğuzhan Özyakup converted from the penalty spot.
Kasımpaşa managed to score three goals with just three shots on target and despite conceding three goals they still have the best defensive record in the league.
On-loan Chelsea defender Kenneth Omeruo started for Kasımpaşa and made the highest number of successful tackles and clearances for his side.
