Galatasaray have fired the former Italy national team manager Cesare Prandelli.
Prandelli fell out of favour with both the club and its supports following a string of disappointing performances and heavy defeats.
Galatasaray have yet to win in the Champions League this season, the Lions have only picked up a single point after five games.
The Süper Lig giants have conceded 15 times and only scored twice in the competition.
Hikmet Karaman and Tugay Kerimoglu have been hotly tipped to succeed Prandelli at Galatasaray.
Galatasaray are currently in third place in the Super League with 19 points from 10 games.
