Mesut Ozil on FIFA’s best midfielders in the world shortlist [divider]
Arsenal star Mesut Özil has been included in the 15-man midfield shortlist for the Fifa FIFPro World XI.
Özil has faced criticism for his performances this season but he helped Joachim Low’s Germany side to World Cup glory and played a role in Arsenal’s FA Cup triumph.
The winners, voted for by 20,000 players worldwide, will be unveiled on 12 January at the Ballon d’Or awards.
