Calhanoglu has been closely linked with Premier League giants Manchester United and he recently revealed that he would find it difficult to turn down an offer from the Red Devils if a bid was made according to Yahoo.
“Barcelona and Manchester United are huge clubs. It would be difficult to turn them down. I have not said anything and there is nothing to talk about, but, of course, if Barcelona made an offer I would have to consider it,” Calhanoglu told Turkish broadcasters Lig TV, as quoted by the Evening Standard.
The Turkish international playmaker now has two goals and two assists in the Bundesliga for Bayer this season. Calhanoglu has a total of six goals and five assists in all competitions for the German giants this season.
The highly rated youngster has been closely linked with Barcelona and Manchester United over recent weeks with the Bild claiming that the Red Devils sent scouts to the last match between Roma and Bayer a fortnight ago.
