Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini has been closely linked with an Old Trafford exit after failing to pen a new deal.
The Belgium international’s contract with United expires this summer meaning he is likely to leave the club for free in the coming weeks.
Fellaini has been closely linked with a move to Turkish Super Lig giants Besiktas. Turkish outlet Fanatik released a report over the weekend stating that the Black Eagles will table an improved offer for the combative midfielder.
Meanwhile, AC Milan sporting director Massimiliano Mirabelli has told SkySports that Fellaini will leave Manchester United.
However, Mirabelli admitted that Milan are yet to agree a deal for the Belgian international.

“Fellaini could be an important player, he is,” Mirabelli told SkySports.
“We know he is not going to renew with United, but it’s difficult to say that we have closed the deal. He has important attributes. We will do something in that role but we are keeping everything in reserve.
“First we have to secure our signings, then announce them.”
Fellaini made the move to Manchester United back in 2013 from Everton. The midfielder has gone onto make 155 appearances for the Red Devils and has scored 20 goals.
United finished the Premier League season in second place and were defeated in the FA Cup final by Chelsea over the weekend.
Fellaini has been included in Roberto Martinez’s Belgium national team squad which will travel to Russia for the 2018 World Cup.
