AC Milan join race for Tottenham target Emenike [divider]

AC Milan are interested in Fenerbahçe striker Emmanuel Emenike according the SL10.ng.

Italian agent Davide Sabatini is expected to hold talks with representatives of Inter and Fiorentina on Wednesday over the possibility of a move to Italy.

Rossoneri sporting director Umberto Gandini is reported to be in talks with representatives of Emenike regarding a January move.

Tottenham were reported to have submitted a €10 million bid following the recommendation of Head of Recruitment and Analysis Paul Mitchell.

Spurs bid was rejected immediately by Fenerbahçe president Aziz Yıldırım.

“Emenike offer came, they gave 10 million Euros. However, I trust him. I therefore rejected the offer,” Yıldırım said.

The Premier League outfit are reported to be considering an increased offer for the 27-year-old striker.

The 27-year-old striker joined Fenerbahçe last summer from Spartak Moscow for €13 million, and scored 12 goals as well as providing 9 assists last season.
