Leicester City have completed the transfer of Caglar Soyuncu from Freiburg according to his agent Mustafa Dogru.
Dogru released a statement confirming the move, congratulating both Soyuncu and the club.
The transfer of the Turkey international was announced after the Premier League transfer window ended.
Soyuncu had actually agreed a deal with Leicester City last night but an announcement was delayed due to work permit issues.
The defender will receive a work permit after going to the exceptions panel based on his transfer fee, wages and the fact he was a first-team player playing over 30 percent of games for Freiburg last season.
The young defender has agreed to a five-year deal, Leicester are expected to pay Freiburg a fee that will reach £20m included add-ons.
Soyuncu has a wealth of Bundesliga and Turkey international competition after his belt despite his young age.
The former Altinordu player has 16 caps for Turkey.
