Agent Confirms Liverpool Star Would Move To Turkey, Everton Move For Cenk Tosun Could See Sturridge Join Besiktas

Besiktas could end up losing star striker Cenk Tosun to Everton over the winter transfer window.

The Toffees are closely linked with the prolific forward and are reported to be on the verge of a deal.

The Black Eagles will need to find a replacement as Alvaro Negredo and Mustafa Pektemek would be the only available strikers should Cenk leave.

The reigning Super Lig champions have a Champions League Last 16 clash against Bayern Munich in February.

Besiktas are also in the domestic title race as well as the Turkish Cup.

Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge is the latest name to be linked with a move to the Istanbul giants.

Sturridge is represented by the Octagon player management company.

Octagon’s Turkish agent Hasan Anıl Eken who represents Sturridge’s rights in Turkey revealed his client would be open to a Besiktas move.

Eken was quoted by Fanatik as saying: “If the circumstances are right and the fans want him Sturridge would play in Turkey.”

Sturridge reportedly wants to make the England World Cup squad but has fallen behind Firmino, Salah and Sadio Mane in the pecking order.

Besiktas want to loan Sturridge until the end of the season for a €2 million fee.
