Agent offers Liverpool winger offered to Turkish giants, Reds demand around £20m
Liverpool winger Lazar Markovic has been offered to Trabzonspor via football agent Mirsad Turkcan according to reports in Turkey.
Fotospor claim that Turkcan offered Markovic to Trabzonspor president Muharrem Usta in a recent meeting.
Per the source, Turkcan acted as a broker on Markovic’s last adventure in Turkey.
The Serbian international spent a year on loan at Fenerbahce during the 2015-16 season.
Trabzonspor could however, face competition from Premier League outfit Watford according to Football Whispers.
The report claims that Watford have had a £10 million bid for Markovic rejected.
The Reds are keen on getting the winger off their books after being transfer listed by Jurgen Klopp but are demanding a figure around £20 million.
Liverpool paid Benfica £20 million for Markovic in 2014 but he never managed to establish himself at the club.
The 23-year-old was loaned out to Fenerbahce the following season and spent the last league campaign on another loan, this time at Watford.
Markovic scored twice and provided three assists in a season riddled by injuries on his last stint in Turkey.
