17-goal Crystal Palace striker Christian Benteke’s agent in talks with Besiktas President
Turkish Super League champions Besiktas have set their sights on signing the Crystal Palace striker Christian Benteke.
The Black Eagles are drawing up a shortlist of strikers ahead of the summer transfer window.
Besiktas are set to lose Vincent Aboubakar when his loan deal expires this summer. Talisca is also expected to depart the Istanbul giants and return to Benfica unless Besiktas can match his lofty release clause.

According to the Turkish outlet Fanatik, Besiktas president Fikret Orman has held informal talks with Benteke’s agent.
Per the source, Benteke’s agent is keen for his client to make the move to Besiktas.
The Black Eagles will be hoping to convince the 26-year-old to join with the lure of UEFA Champions League football.
However, Besiktas will first need to strike a deal with Crystal Palace before discussing terms with Benteke.
Palace are unlikely to let Benteke go on the cheap after signing him from Liverpool for £27 million last summer (BBC).
Furthermore, Benteke played a key role in Palace avoiding relegation this season. The Belgium international provided two assists and scored 17 goals in 39 appearances for the Eagles.
Palace secured their future in the Premier League following a 4-0 victory over Hull City last weekend.
