Agent Respond To Man United Move For £35.5m Brazil International, Turkish Giants Also Make Offer

Anderson Talisca has been on fire for Besiktas over the past two seasons.

The 24-year-old has played an important role in Besiktas lifting the league title last season and has 16 goals as well as four assists in all competitions this term.

Talisca netted four times in the Champions League and could end up lifting the Super Lig again as Besiktas are just three points behind leaders Galatasaray.

It is perhaps little surprise that the Brazil international has attracted interest from across Europe.

A Bola reported that Manchester United are in talks over Talisca and are prepared to offer €40 million (£35.5m).

Per the source, Jose Mourinho – who is a long-term admirer of Talisca – has placed a ‘reserve’ on the 1.92m tall attacking midfielder.

Talisca’s agent Carlos Leite responded to the latest reports regarding interest from United.

Globoesporte reported Leita as saying that even if there is interest the future of his client will only be decided after the end of the season.

The agent also said that he has not been in talks with any other club.

Besiktas meanwhile have made no secret of the fact they want Talisca to stay on a permanent move.

The problem for the reigning Super Lig champions is that their star man is on loan from Benfica.

The Black Eagles have a €21m release clause option which remains active until the end of the season.

Club president Fikret Orman has confirmed that Besiktas will make a move for the attacking midfielder.

“If Talisca wants to stay we want him to stay, we will make an offer,” Orman stated.
