Akhisar vs Galatasaray: Turkish Cup Final Preview

Turkish national team Fatih Terim

Galatasaray take on Akhisar in the Turkish Cup Final at the Sivas 4 Eylul Stadium on Wednesday.

The Lions are on course to winning the league and cup double over the next five days if they manage to beat Akhisar.

The Akigolar are currently last in the Super Lig table and will probably end up relegated this season.

Akhisar have been awful in the league this term but are the reigning cup champions.

It remains to be seen whether Fatih Terim will field a full strength side considering they take on Basaksehir in the league on Sunday.

Galatasaray are currently first in the league by virtue of goal difference over Basaksehir.

Terim has lifted the trophy twice before in 1999 and 2000.

The Yellow-Reds have a full strength side other than Emre Akbaba who is out injured.

The Lions would be crowned Turkish Cup champions for the 18th time if they do win the cup.
