Trabzonspor beat Sivasspor 2-1 at the Akyazi stadium today to move top of the Super Lig with a game in hand.

Alexander Sorloth was the star of the show yet again for the home side.

Sorloth opened the scoring on four minutes taking his overall tally to 22 goals in all competitions.

In comparison, Crystal Palace have 23 goals in the Premier League this term.

The Norway international has 17 goals and five assists in the league.

Sorloth’s goal record has helped Trabzonspor move into first place in the Super Lig with a game in hand.

The 1.95m tall striker joined the Black Sea based side on a two-year loan with a €6m buy option from Palace.

To be fair to the Eagles, Sorloth did not score a single goal last season so it is easy to see why he was allowed to leave.

Additionally, we can’t compare the level of the Super Lig with the Premier League but you can only play against the opposition in front of you.
