Galatasaray star Wilfried Zaha said it was a “dream come true” to score in the UEFA Champions League against former team Manchester United at Old Trafford.
The Lions ended up beating United 3-2 away from home for the first time in club history.

Zaha scored his first European goal to help the Yellow-Reds on their path to a historic win.
The winger scored the equalizer in the 34th minute to cancel out Rasmus Hojlund’s opening goal for United.
He capitalised on poor defending from United tussling with United right-back Diogo Dalot and managing to get a shot off from a hopeful long-range pass from center-back Davinson Sanchez and then lifted the ball over Andre Onana.
Despite United taking the lead again in the second half, Galatasaray equalised for the second time with Kerem Akturkoglu for a second time before Mauro Icardi made amends for his penalty miss by scoring the winner late on.
It was a special evening for Zaha, who tweeted ‘are you not entertained’ after the game on X.

Asked on TNT Sports after the game if the Champions League lived up to his expectations, he replied: “It literally is.
“It’s not even just the game, it’s the build-up. When we were driving here on the coach we were playing the Champions League music – it’s a different feeling. I’ve finally made it here.”There’s nothing like it. It’s literally playing between the best and a chance to showcase my talent between the best.
“I feel like that’s where it is decided whether you’re good or not, so days like today are what it’s all about for me.”

He has now scored in his last two games for the Lions.
The win moved Galatasaray into second place in the group on four points after two games.
