Arsenal manager Unai Emery has given an injury update for Mesut Ozil ahead of the Huddersfield game in the Premier League on Saturday.
The playmaker of Turkish origin has missed the last two league games against Tottenham and Manchester United due to a back problem.
Ozil has now missed three league games in a row although he was in the matchday squad against Bournemouth.
Emery has revealed that Ozil is working with the physio but could not give a return date.
The Arsenal boss did reveal that Ozil has been running and working with the ball.
The head coach stated that Ozil will be a game-time decision.
“He had a backache and now he’s working with the physio,” Emery said. “We are going to look at when he can come back with us.
“This morning he worked with the physio on the pitch, running and touching the ball. Tomorrow will be the decision.”
Ozil has been out for nearly a month with injury now but could make a return for the Huddersfield game.
The 30-year-old has four goals and one assist in all competitions for the North London based outfit this term.
The Gunners head into the Huddersfield clash undefeated in their last 20 games in all competitions.
