Arsenal boss Unai Emery has once again refuted claims that he had a training ground bust-up with Mesut Ozil last week.
Reports emerged following Arsenal’s win over West Ham that the 29-year-old had an altercation with the Gunners boss.
However, Emery has stated that there is no issue between himself and Ozil. The Spanish tactician went onto state that Ozil has returned to first-team training this week and is available for the Cardiff game.
Emery also said that Ozil needs to adapt to playing in different positions in midfield.
“He’s training normally with the group, in every session this week,” Emery stated at the pre-game press conference.
“He’s OK. After this, it’s about where he is better for us and also about the opposition’s style of play.
“I like the possibility to have the player play different positions on the pitch.
“It depends each match and is the same for other players too. For that, Mesut has played with me on the right wing and also as No 10 and we are going to continue to do that.”
Arsenal will be looking to register their second victory when they take on Cardiff on Sunday. The Dragons are yet to score a single goa in the Premier League.
Neil Warnock’s side held a ten-man Huddersfield to a 0-0 draw last weekend.
