The 29-year-old missed training on Friday which could mean Aaron Ramsey starts in his place today.
Meanwhile, Carl Jenkinson, Sead Kolasinac, Koscielny and Maitland-Niles also miss today’s clash due to injuries.
Ozil racked up 14 assists and scored five goals in 35 games for Arsenal during the 2017/18 Premier League season.
The 29-year-old has three-years remaining on his contract with the north London based club.
