“Still room for improvement” – Arsenal boss sends warning to star strike force ahead of Huddersfield clash
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has sent a warning out to his star strike force ahead of Wednesday night’s Huddersfield clash.
The French tactician has admitted that he has been let down by a lack of ruthlessness from Alexis Sanchez, Mesut Ozil and Alexandre Lacazette this season.
Lacazette has scored just twice this season following his £52million move from Lyon last summer. Sanchez meanwhile has just three goals to his name while Ozil has scored just once all season.
The trio have only started three games together this season and were present during Arsenal’s win over Tottenham in the north London derby.
However, the partnership was broken up last weekend during Arsenal’s win over Burnley due to Ozil’s illness.

The Germany international is available for selection tonight after returning to first-team training on Tuesday.
“Improvement is always possible, that’s what we want to focus on. Keep the good things we have done recently, but improve,” Wenger told reporters.
“We have improved our defensive record recently but we know going forward we can do better, we can be more prolific.
“We do not take enough of our chances and we want to create more as well. So there is still room for improvement.”
