Arsenal confirmed lineup vs Lazio – Mesut Ozil starts on bench while star defender ruled out for eight weeks

Arsenal take on the Serie A giants Lazio tonight in the International Champions Cup.

The north London based club are preparing for their 2018/19 season opener against Manchester City next Sunday.

Tonight encounter will be played in Stockholm, Sweden and kick-off is scheduled for 19:00 (GMT).

Star playmaker Mesut Ozil starts on the bench tonight while summer signings Lichsteiner and Torreira will make their debuts.

Ozil started against PSG last and scored his side’s opener during their 5-1 victory.

Meanwhile, Aaron Ramsey has been ruled out with a calf injury and Sead Kolasinac has been sidelined with a knee injury. The Bosnia international is expected to be oiut for at least eight weeks.

Ozil returned to pre-season training ahead of schedule this summer despite featuring for Germany at the 2018 World Cup.

The 29-year-old retired from national team football last month.
