Arsenal Defensive Target Set To Start In International Friendly Against Iran

Turkey take on Iran at the Başakşehir Fatih Terim Stadı in the first of their three international friendly games over the next fortnight.

Arsenal fans wanting to get a feel for defensive target Caglar Soyuncu will be able to watch the defender tonight.

The Turkey international is expected to start.

Turkish-Football reported that the Gunners are expected to continue keeping tabs on Soyuncu as they have done all season.

Soyuncu’s agent Mustafa Dogru will also be present and a meeting is likely to go ahead, although official talks have been set for after the international break.

Another Arsenal target Yusuf Yazici is also likely to start, the attacking midfielder is represented by the same agent as Mesut Ozil, Erkut Sogut.

Former Arsenal youth player Oguzhan Ozyakup is also likely to feature.

Ozyakup will be a free agent at the end of June unless he signs a contract extension.
