Arsenal Defensive Target Set To Start Against Tunisia, Gunners Officials To Keep Tabs

Turkey take on Tunisia in Geneva, Switzerland in their second friendly game of the international break.

The Crescent-Stars beat Iran on Monday in Turkey with Everton star Cenk Tosun scoring a brace.

Tosun put on a brilliant display, another player that put on a stellar performance was Freiburg defender Caglar Soyuncu.

The 22-year-old started as the left centre-back, putting on a show that would probably have pleased the Arsenal scouts in the stands at the Fatih Terim stadium.

Turkish-Football report that the Gunners are also expected to have a club official monitoring Soyuncu against Tunisia.

The defender is likely to start again tonight.

Arsenal have been closely linked with Soyuncu who has confirmed interest from the North London based outfit.

The defender will hold talks over his future after the international break.

Mircea Lucescu will take charge of his 10th game as Turkey boss, the Crescent-Stars have played three games in 2018, avoiding defeat – beating Ireland, Iran and drawing to Karadag.
