Arsenal demand £13.4m for Newcastle target, star man considers move to Turkey after two months of talks

Arsenal striker Lucas Perez has given Fenerbahce the green light to push ahead with his transfer.

The Spanish striker’s agent Fernandez Lovelle has revealed his client would be happy to play for Fenerbahce.

“If Fenerbahce striker a deal with Arsenal, Lucas would be happy to wear the shirt,” Lovelle said.

“It all depends on Arsenal now but we could be happy to join Fenerbahce.”

Lovelle already confirmed that Arsenal want £13.4 million for the 28-year-old striker and that they are not keen on a loan move.

“We are in talks with Fenerbahce for two months but Arsene Wenger does not want a loan move,” Lovelle said.

“Wenger wants €15m (£13.4m) for Lucas.

Fenerbahce could face competition from Newcastle for Perez but the newly promoted Premier League side only want him for the right price.

The Shield Gazette report that the Magpies are desperate to sign a new striker but have not made a firm offer for Perez.

Per the source, Rafa Benitez remains hopeful that a deal can be reached for the forward.

Arsenal signed Perez on a £17 million deal form Deportivo last season but Arsene Wenger only played him 21 times.

Despite having another two-years remaining on his contract, Perez looks destined to leave Arsenal.

The striker is unlikely to get much playing time next season after falling behind Lacazette and Giroud in the pecking order.
