Arsenal Face Competition For £20m Bundesliga Target From Super Lig Giants Besiktas After Agent Green Lights Summer Exit

Hoffenheim star Kerem Demirbay has been closely linked with a summer exit.

Besiktas have become the latest side to join the race for the attacking midfielder according to reports in Turkey.

The Fanatik sports newspaper claim that the Black Eagles want Demirbay as a replacement for Anderson Talisca.

The Brazilian attacker parted ways with the Istanbul based outfit for a loan move to China this summer.

Besiktas have made finding a replacement a priority and Demirbay has been identified as a target.

Per the source, Demirbay’s agent Yilmaz Sanli has confirmed that his client is open to a summer move.

The Black Eagles could face competition from Arsenal this summer.

The Standard, report that the North London based outfit are monitoring Hoffenheim star Kerem Demirbay.

Demirbay only recently extended his contract with the Bundesliga outfit, striking a four-year deal which could keep him at the club until 2021-22 season.

The Standard previously reported that Arsenal were interested in a £20 million move for Demirbay prior to his contract extension.

Liverpool were also understood to be keen on the midfield playmaker.

Demirbay racked up six assists and two goals in 27 appearances for Hoffenheim this term.

The 24-year-old missed much of the season with an ankle ligament injury but has made a recovery.
