Arsenal face competition from Euro Giants in race to sign €25m Germany international – Everton also interested

Serie A giants AC Milan have joined the race to sign Arsenal target Kerem Demirbay.

Italian outlet Newsmondo recently claimed that Demirbay is the subject of interest of both the Gunners and Everton. Per the source the Premier League duo are interested in signing the playmaker in January.

However, they look set to face competition from AC Milan. According to Calciomercato, the 24-year-old is a top priority for the Rossoneri. The report goes on to state that Hoffenheim have set a €25 million valuation for their star midfielder.

Demirbay has opted to represent Germany at international level and like Man City star Ilkay Gundogan, he also happens to be of Turkish descent.

Everton have struggled for creativity this season, something the 24-year-old could provide some assistance with. While Arsenal have been on the lookout for a replacement for Santi Cazorla – who’s contract expires this summer.

Demirbay has two goals and five assists in 22 appearances for Hoffenheim in all competitions this season.
