Arsene Wenger confirmed that Ozil is not physically ready yet to return but fans have started to question the decision and wonder whether the Germany international of Turkish origin is actually ill or if something else is going on.
Ozil did turn up to training today and worked with the rest of his teammates despite being too ill to play in the mid-week game.
We took a look at how Arsenal fans reacted to news that Ozil will miss the Bayern game on social media.
How bad is Ozil’s cold? questions are starting to be asked whether he actually has the flu or whether he has been dropped.
@johncrossmirror Why does Wenger just tell the truth for a change and say Ozil is dropped. He wouldnt be training if he had the flu

Could this be a sign that Ozil is on his way out? there are also rumours circulating regarding the future of Alexis Sanchez.
@GUNNERSACKER @JPitirri Yer darn right it feels different. Feels like Ozil and Alexis are on their way out and the club is imploding.

Or is Ozil being over the top and milking his cold, is this a case of man flu?

There seem to be a lot of fans who believe Ozil is pretending to be sick.
Players arguing.Ozil pretending to be sick all the time.Everyone’s off form. Wenger’s lost it. Board’s dead. What a mess of a football club?
