Arsenal hold transfer talks with Euro giants over sale of £10m Mohammed Elneny just one year after joining Gunners

Galatasaray are in talks with Arsenal over the transfer of  Mohammed Elneny.

The Turkish outlet Fotospor have claimed that Galatasaray Director of Football Cenk Ergun traveled to London last week and met with Arsenal officials.

Per the source, Ergun enquired about the availability of the Egypt international and will report back to Galatasaray officials in Istanbul.

Meanwhile a report in the Mirror states that Elneny recently turned down a move to Leicester City.

Leicester City had agreed a £10 million fee with Arsenal for Elneny’s however, the midfielder decided against a move to the King Power Stadium.

Elneny has three years remaining on his contract with Arsenal and is understood to be happy in London.

Galatasaray are on the lookout for a new defensive midfielder and have also been linked with a move for Man City’s Fernando.

Elneny started just eight Premier League games for the Gunners last season and appeared in a total of 14 clashes.
