Arsenal playmaker Mesut Ozil has taken to social media to issue an update regarding an injury which forced him off during Germany’s clash with Northern Ireland.
The 27-year-old was substituted at half time due to an injury. Manchester City’s Ilkay Gundogan come on in place of the Arsenal midfielder.
Ozil took to Twitter to issue the following statement regarding his injury.

Germany went onto win the game by a 2-0 scoreline and have moved back up to top spot with nine points from three games.
Arsenal fans will be hoping Ozil returns to full fitness ahead of this weekends clash with Swansea City in the Premier League.
The Gunners go into the game in high spirits after recording five wins in a row and remaining unbeaten in their last eight encounters.
Arsene Wenger’s side sit in third place with 16 points after seven games and are just two points behind leaders Manchester City.
