Arsenal legend predicts whether Mesut Ozil & Alexis Sanchez will stay
Arsenal legend Charlie Nicholas has given his prediction regarding whether Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez will stay on at the club next season.
Nicholas revealed that he feels Sanchez will leave but that Ozil will remain at the North London based outfit.
Speaking to Sky Sports, Nicholas said: “We need a solution to Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil now.
“I think Ozil will stay but Sanchez will probably go and losing 30 goals is really damaging.”
Ozil and Sanchez both have just over 12 months remaining on their current contracts but neither have yet to sign an extension.
The fact that they have not reached an agreement over a new deal has resulted in rumours that a summer exit could be on the cards.
Both players are due to hold talks with the club over recent weeks.
Ozil is currently on holiday in the US, while Sanchez has been on international duty with Chile.
The Gunners finished outside of the top four this campaign and will not play Champions League football next season.
Arsenal did manage to end the season with one piece of silverware after lifting the FA Cup.
