Besiktas beat Istanbul rivals Kasimpasa 3-2 at the Recep Tayyip Erdogan stadium on Sunday to move into 2nd place in the Super Lig.
Arsenal loanee Mohamed Elneny started for the Black Eagles.
The Egypt international has started every one of the Black-Whites last six games, all of which have ended in victory.
Elneny has played an important role in his side moving from just above the relegation zone into second place over the past few weeks.
The 27-year-old kept possession well against Kasimpasa making 86 passes with an 86 percent accuracy.
Additionally, Elneny created three goal-scoring opportunities over the course of the game.
Besiktas had to wait until the fifth minute of additional time for Umut Nayir to find the winning goal.
The Black Eagles came back from behind twice to eventually win the game.
Elneny has made 14 appearances in all competitions for the Black-Whites this season.
Besiktas take on Wolves next in the Europa League on Thursday followed by a home game against Malatyaspor on Sunday.
