Arsenal and Manchester United are pushing for a move for Fenerbahce full-back Ferdi Kadioglu, sources have told Turkish-Football.

Both clubs have been scouting Kadioglu as we reported last month and kept tabs on him over Euro 2024.

Fenerbahce president Ali Koc has declared his club’s determination to hold onto the star left-back but pressure is mounting with the Premier League giants circling.

Informal talks have been held through intermediaries, a formal offer has not been made yet.

The 24-year-old’s impressive performances for Turkey at Euro 2024 have turned heads across Europe, attracting interest from the Premier League giants.

Despite having two years remaining on his contract, Kadioglu has become a transfer target for several clubs. However, Fenerbahce president Koc has made it clear the club wants to keep the defender beyond the summer window.

Unless a contract extension is signed this summer could be the most lucrative period for Fenerbahce to cash in.

Reports suggest Fenerbahce have already rejected a bid from an unnamed Premier League club.
