Arsenal & Man United Face Premier League Competition For Ferdi Kadioglu

Turkish defender Ferdi Kadioglu is generating significant interest from Premier League clubs following Turkish-Football reporting interest from Arsenal and Manchester United.

Last week we reported that United and Arsenal scouted Kadioglu in the 2-1 win over Czech Republic in the final Group F Euro 2024 game.

Now, Turkish football journalist Yagiz Sabuncuoglu is reporting that four Premier League sides have approached Fenerbahce over the versatile full back.

Sabuncuoglu does not reveal the name of the other clubs interested.

Sabuncugolu tweeted on X: “Four Premier League sides have approached Ferdi Kadioglu’s agent over a transfer.”

However, One Football report that one of the teams could be West Ham who have been previously been linked with Kadioglu.

Despite reported interest in a striker and central defenders, West Ham’s priority remains adding depth to their squad following a disappointing last season. The lack of reliable backups was a major factor in their struggles.

Kadioglu’s ability to play left-back, right-back, and even midfield makes him an attractive target for all three clubs mentioned. United, Arsenal and West Ham are all keen on strengthening their defence.

The 24-year-old has impressed with Fenerbahce in the Turkish Süper Lig and is currently showcasing his talent for Turkey at Euro 2024.

Kadioglu has been one of the stand out players for Turkey in the tournament this summer and has created the most chances for a defensive player.

The left-back has started all three games for the Red-Whites and is likely to start again in the Last 16 clash against Czech Republic on Tuesday.

Fenerbahce value their star player as being worth €30m and do not want to let him go for anything less but with two-years remaining on his contract this could be the best time to cash in unless they strike an extension.
