Arsenal & Man United in Race For Szymanski, Would Cost €35m

Fenerbahce midfielder Sebastian Szymanski is reportedly attracting interest from Premier League giants Arsenal and Manchester United, according to Fichajes.

Per the source, Arsenal and United are in the race for the Fenerbahce star and it also claims that Tottenham and AC Milan have also been closely monitoring his performances.

Szymanski, 24, has impressed since joining Fenerbahce from Feyenoord on loan last season. He has contributed directly to 26 goals in 39 appearances, scoring 12 and assisting 14.

The report claims all three English clubs have sent scouts to watch Szymanski in action and are impressed by his potential.

Manager Mikel Arteta seeks a backup for Martin Ødegaard and a versatile midfielder who can play centrally or on the right flank.

Under new ownership, the Red Devils are expected to pursue young talents with long-term potential.

Needing attacking depth, Szymanski could provide quality and address their current limitations.

The Turkish club wants to keep Szymanski beyond summer 2024, as his contract runs until 2027.

Reports suggest a fee of €35 million could be enough to secure his transfer, exceeding his current market value of €22.5 million.

Szymanski’s impressive form has put him in the spotlight, but Fenerbahce’s desire and potential transfer fee could complicate matters. Whether he moves to the Premier League and which club he joins remains to be seen.

Fenerbahce are currently involved in a two horse title race with rivals Galatasaray in the league and are also competing in the European Conference League and Turkish Cup.
