The Stuttgart midfielder’s agent has also confirmed Arsenal interest and Gunners scout Jurgen Kost revealed that the North London side are scouting a Turkish youngster in Germany who fits Ozcan’s description.
“I have been scouting a Turkish kid in Germany, I watched him 2-3 weeks ago, he plays in central midfield,” Kost was quoted as saying by Turkish-Football.
“I won’t give his name yet but he is very talented and we are considering signing him.”
Turkish-Football have also reported that Manchester United have been scouting Demiral.
The towering defender left Fenerbahce last season to join Portuguese minnows before being snapped up on a five-year deal by Sporting Lisbon.
Demiral and Ozcan both started in the U19s 2-1 victory over Portugal U19s on Saturday 24 March.
Ozcan scored a brace in the win over Portugal U19s which resulted in all four teams in the group, Turkey, Portugal, Croatia and Ukraine being left on three points after the first two games.
The star duo are expected to be named in the starting line-up against Croatia today.
