Turkish-Football sources have revealed that Besiktas remain keen on the England midfielder.
Club officials have contacted Wilshere’s representatives and asked him to name his price for a move to the Super Lig giants.
If Wilshere’s demands are within budget the Black Eagles will launch an official offer for the 26-year-old.
Besiktas would be able to offer assurance of first team football, a pay-rise on what he was earning and European competition football next season.
Wilshere would join former teammate Oguzhan Ozyakup if he were to make the move.
Ozyakup and Wilshere were both part of the Arsenal side that lifted the 2009 Youth FA Cup.
Fellow Turkish giants Galatasaray and Fenerbahce are also interested.
Fenerbahce club president Ali Koc was spotted in the Dorchester Hotel, London with officials amid several rounds of transfer talks with players on their shortlist, including Wilshere’s representatives.
The Daily Mail meanwhile, report that Everton, Wolves and West Ham all want Wilshere as well.
Per the source, Serie A champions Juventus were interested but may reconsider after completing the transfer of Emre Can from Liverpool on a four-year deal on Thursday.
The midfielder has no shortage of interest but is not expected to make a decision until he returns from holiday.
