Arsenal Could Miss Out On £30m Bundesliga Wonderkid As Man United & Man City Tipped As Favorites

Man Utd transfer news: Caglar Soyuncu

Freiburg wonder-kid Caglar Soyuncu has been linked with an exit this summer.

Turkish-Football spent the last few days at Soyuncu’s former club Altinordu and spoke to the manager who first discovered and developed him, Huseyin Eroglu as well as the club president Seyit Mehmet Ozkan.

The club president revealed Soyuncu is likely to join a Premier League side in the near future.

Eroglu also backed up Ozkan’s statement and said that he sees the Manchester clubs as being favorites to sign the rising star.

“Caglar is looking likely to go to England at the end of the season. He came from our academy so we are regularly in contact and is now doing well in the Bundesliga,” he said.

“For me, he’ll go to Manchester United or Manchester City at the end of the year, he is capable of playing at the highest level.”

Freiburg signed the 21-year-old on a £2 million move in 2016.

Soyuncu has gone onto become a first-team star for Freiburg but Altinordu are for €2.5m owed 30 percent of his next sale.

Arsenal have also been closely linked with the star defender.

The Daily Mail recently reported that the Gunners are weighing up a £30 million bid for the Freiburg wonder-kid.
The official Bundesliga website named him as being one of the stars of tomorrow.
The Freiburg starlet has one goal in 24 appearances this season playing 90 minutes in every game he has featured in except the defeat to Stuttgart – as he was sent off.
